    The Prevalence of Oral and Perioral Piercings and It's Relation to Psychological State in Riyadh City

    In the past few years, a significant increase has been observed in the oral piercing, especially in youth. In order to follow the trends or make their personal statements, teens and young adults are opting oral and perioral piercings. No doubt, the piercing can cause significant implications, mainly with relevant to the psychological state. This research aims to determine the relationship of oral and perioral piercings with the psychological conditions, like depression, anxiety, stress, and oral health of the females in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). A cross-sectional study was conducted based on responses obtained from the participants, having 18-30 years of age.
