    Prevalence of Noise Induced Hearing Loss and Other Associated Risk Factors among Saudi Dental Professionals

    Background: Noise induced hearing loss is the most common among the health problems and occupational impacts faced by dental professionals. Aims: This study was carried out to obtain an up-to-date assessment of the nature and extent of possible hearing loss among Saudi dental professionals, to identify the associated risk factors that may influence hearing loss, and to compare the prevalence of hearing loss in dental professionals to general population. Materials and methods: This prospective case-control study was conducted in the College of Dentistry and Medical City at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
