    The study assesses the cells in platelet-rich fibrin using advanced platelet-rich fibrin and standard platelet-rich fibrin protocol between two age groups. Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a fibrin matrix in which various cells are trapped including platelets and growth factors. It was first developed by Choukron et al. in France in the year 2001, It is a second-generation platelet concentrate developed for use specifically in oral and maxillofacial surgery. It is known to have various regenerative and healing properties including tissue regeneration, revascularization, osteogenic properties, etc. making it ideal for wound healing.
