    Background & Purpose: Medical research paves a way towards this evidence-based medicine. Experience of research in an early time in the medical profession is associated with continued professional academic work and may also help resident’s career decisions. The present study was carried out to assess the knowledge, attitude and practice of medical research amongst medical students and also the potential barriers in carrying out the medical research. Materials & Methods: It was a cross sectional study conducted at Government Medical College, Nagpur, India from January 2020 to February 2020 amongst 156 medical students.
