    Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the Knowledge, attitude and perception of dentists towards special care dentistry. The objective was to evaluate the awareness of special care dentistry and its needs among dentists who were based in Chennai and also to determine the association between age range and willingness to participate in future special care training. Method: The study was designed as an online closed ended questionnaire based study and the dentists (n=101) were contacted via email.
