    Effect of the Age and Gender on the Reliability of Draw-aPerson Test

    Introduction: Draw-a-Person test (DAPT) continues to be one of top 10 tools used by practitioners in the education and psychology field. There are several studies on the reliability of this test, all of which presented a strong correlation and significance between retests. In this study, we aimed to observe how features like age and gender affect the reliability of the test among schooling children. Materials and Method: A total of 447 students aged between 48 and 130 months, from different regions of Nigeria took part in this experiment. Results: show that correlation coefficient between tests was as high as 0.807, thus presenting enough evidence of the reliability of DAPT. Conclusion: Female students tend to improve their DAPT score on retest, regardless of their age, while male students at younger age tend to improve their DAPT score on retest.
