    Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine for the Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19: A Fiction, Hope or Hype

    Background: Curative part is one of the most important part of the COVID-19 containment strategy and various drugs are bring repurpose to treat the COVID-19 symptoms as there is no already available standard course of treatment due to novelty of the disease. Summary: HCQ and CQ have showed their efficacy as antimalarial drugs both in prophylactic role and during treatment of the malaria.
