Outcome of New-born born to Mother with Hypertension in Pregnancy

Preeclampsia is a multi-organ, heterogeneous pregnancy disorder that is associated with large number of maternal and new-born morbidity and mortality. As the preeclampsia is a progressive disease, delivery may be necessary in some circumstances to prevent the disease from advancing for the benefit of neonate and the mother. Premature birth has long term detrimental effects on critical neonatal outcomes that aren't limited to the most premature new-borns. Late preterm infants account for around two thirds of all preterm deliveries and they have a significant morbidity and mortality rate.
