Irrespective of age, gingival recession is a common periodontal problem witnessed worldwide. Varied factors like malocclusion and improper tooth brushing technique can predispose gingival recession. Root exposure has deleterious outcomes like dentinal hypersensitivity, root caries and unaesthetic appearance.
