Iron deficiency anaemia is one of the most common nutritional deficiencies disorder worldwide. It is characterized by symptoms like fatigue, weakness, pallor and koilonychias. Oral mucosa can reflect the general status of the patient and these signs can sometimes precede general symptoms.
