Social Stressors and Quality of Life in Patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus Visiting a Tertiary Care Hospital by Using Quality of life Enjoyment and Satisfaction Questionnaire?Short Form

Objective: Quality of life is affected by the social stressors along with diabetes. The objective of our study was to assess different aspects of social stressors amongst the patients with type II diabetes mellitus versus non- diabetic’s people by using the quality-of-life enjoyment and satisfaction questionnaire (Q-LES-Q-SF). Methodology: This case control study was piloted at Ziauddin University Hospital, Clifton Campus, South, Karachi, by using consecutive sampling technique. The period of the study was one year after the approval of synopsis. Ethical approval was permitted by the Ethical Review Committee of Ziauddin University Hospital.
