    A Revolutionary Journey of Platelet Concentrates in Dentistry: A Review

    Platelet concentrates seem to be blood derivatives made from the blood of patient, inside which activated platelets have been captured within the fibrin matrix scaffold and cytokines, release growth factors included in tissue regeneration processes like cell proliferation and differentiation, extracellular matrix synthesis, chemo taxis, and angiogenesis. Over the last twenty years, these procedures have been found to enhance healing in soft as well as hard tissues, leading to beneficial therapeutic applications in dental professions.
