    Comparison of Antibacterial Efficacy of Annona Squamosa Mouthwash with Chlorhexidine for Children

    Background: Controlling dental plaque is critical in the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease and dental caries. In addition to mechanical plaque removal techniques such as tooth brushing and flossing, the use of chemical and herbal mouthwashes is recommended because it is safe, effective and economic. Natural materials are increasingly being used in dentistry. Aim: This study will be conducted to investigate the antibacterial activity of Annona squamosa pulp mouthwash against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli in comparison with chlorhexidine.
